Sonny LaRosa and members of America's Youngest Jazz Band present a check in the amount of $2200.00 to Community ShareN. The musicians, ages 6 to 12 years presented a benefit performance entitled "Children Helping Children" at the Palladium Theatre in St. Petersburg on Sunday, October 7th. All proceeds will be donated to The September 11th Fund. The band played at the World Trade Center as the opening band for the Bell Atlantic Jazz Festival, the largest jazz event in the world, in 1999. On behalf of the beneficiaries of the September 11th Fund, United Way of Pinellas salutes these talented musicians and future community leaders. Thanks, kids.
